Refund and Cancellation Policy

At 27Templates (a digital brand operated by Sitecrafted Web Solutions), we strive to provide high-quality, readymade WordPress solutions. Because our products are digital goods delivered via internet download, we have established a strict Refund and Cancellation Policy to protect the integrity of our intellectual property and the sustainability of our business.

1. The Nature of Digital Goods

By purchasing a "Readymade WordPress Website" or "All-in-One Bundle," you acknowledge that these are non-tangible, irrevocable digital goods. Unlike physical products, digital files cannot be "returned." Once the download link is generated or the files are accessed, the product is considered "used" in the eyes of digital commerce law.

2. General "No Refund" Policy

As a general rule, Sitecrafted Web Solutions does not offer refunds once a purchase is completed. This policy is in place because:

  • The product is instantly delivered and accessible.

  • The nature of GPL software allows for the code to be copied and stored permanently by the buyer.

  • We provide extensive live demos of every product so you can see exactly what you are buying before you pay.

3. Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds

We only honor refund requests under the following strictly defined conditions:

A. Non-Delivery of the Product

Due to technical issues with our mail servers or payment gateway (Razorpay), you might not receive the download link. If you do not receive the link within 24 hours of purchase and our support team cannot manually provide it, a full refund will be issued.

B. Major Technical Defects

While we test all Readymade Websites on standard hosting environments, if the zip file itself is corrupted and cannot be extracted, and we are unable to provide a working replacement file within 3 business days, a refund will be granted.

C. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchased the same product twice in two separate transactions, we will refund the duplicate payment after verification.

4. Situations Where Refunds are NOT Granted

To avoid "friendly fraud" and misuse, we will not issue refunds for:

  • "Change of Mind": Deciding you no longer want the template after downloading it.

  • Lack of Technical Skill: We provide readymade files, but you must have basic knowledge of WordPress, Cpanel, or Localhost to install them. We are not responsible if you do not know how to use WordPress.

  • Hosting Incompatibility: It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure their hosting meets the requirements (PHP version, memory limits, etc.).

  • Third-Party Plugin Issues: We do not offer refunds if a specific third-party plugin (not included in the bundle) is incompatible with our template.

  • GPL Limitations: We do not refund because a product lacks a "License Key" or "Auto-updates." Our product descriptions clearly state that these are GPL versions.

5. Detailed Cancellation Policy

Since our delivery is instantaneous upon payment, "cancellation" of an order is not possible once the payment is processed via Razorpay.

  • Pre-Download: If you have paid but have not yet clicked the download link in your dashboard, you may request a cancellation within 2 hours of the transaction. This is subject to our logs confirming zero download attempts.

  • Subscription Cancellation: If we offer any recurring maintenance plans in the future, you may cancel at any time, but no pro-rata refunds will be given for the remaining period of the current billing cycle.

6. Razorpay & Payment Gateway Disputes

We encourage all buyers to contact our support team at support@27templates.com before reaching out to their bank or Razorpay.

  • Dispute Investigation: If you open a dispute/chargeback via Razorpay without contacting us first, we will provide our server logs and "Terms of Service" agreement to the bank to prove delivery of the digital asset.

  • Account Blacklisting: Any user who initiates a fraudulent chargeback will be permanently banned from 27Templates and all future projects of Sitecrafted Web Solutions.

7. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved by the Sitecrafted Web Solutions management team:

  • The refund will be initiated via the original payment method (Razorpay).

  • It typically takes 5 to 7 working days for the amount to reflect in your bank account/credit card statement, depending on your bank's internal policies.

8. Compatibility Disclaimer

Our readymade websites are designed to work on the latest stable version of WordPress. We cannot guarantee that the product will function perfectly on outdated servers or with "Managed WordPress" hosts that block certain file types. Please test our demos thoroughly before purchase.

9. Contact for Refund Claims

All claims must be submitted via email to support@27templates.com with the following:

  1. Order ID from Razorpay.

  2. Date of Purchase.

  3. Reason for Refund (with screenshots if claiming technical defect).
